CyberInk was founded in 1997 as the entrepreneurial Internet division of Times Publishing Company. Located in an office at Modern Tool Square, a mile away from the century-old business of the local newspaper, a small creative team launched what would become the number one community website in our region: GoErie.com. Today, the original vision for GoErie.com remains: to serve as a portal of information to help people live, work and play in the Lake Erie region. GoErie.com today offers a rich multimedia experience, not only featuring in-depth information from the Erie Times-News, but also blogs, classifieds, video, photo galleries, and interactive content. Many photos and videos are submitted by GoErie.com users.
As GoErie.com grew – from 148,000 unique monthly visitors in 2003 to more than 650,000 this year – our experience in creating, maintaining, and growing viable digital products grew, too. We expanded services to include web development, and helped VisitErie, the Erie Zoo and Saint Vincent Health Center successfully leverage the power of the growing Internet. We have embraced new technology to become experts in databases, email marketing, e-commerce, content management, SEO/SEM, online advertising, SMS, social networking and earned media.
From a small staff in 1997 to 16 employees today, CyberInk continues connecting local businesses with the hottest trends in digital. Our knowledge and creativity helped GoErie.com grow into the largest local website and we look forward to putting that experience to work for you.
